After this shocking debacle can you still really defend Wenger? Surely it is getting harder now?

This has been an almighty fuck up! You sell your two holding midfielders and don't replace one let alone both! You say you don't need a striker but then it comes into the open we chased Kalou!

Sorry we are becoming a joke, a joke because our long trusted manager is clutching at straws and bullshiting ot hide it and a joke because we refuse to move with the times!

Carry on and we will be the Arsenal of 1985 making 10th spot very quickly believe me!

As I said on another thread......

Today, I think will be the defining moment in Wengers reign. If he really thinks we can mount a serious challenge at all competitions with the size of the squad, and it goes tits up, serious questions are going to be raised about his judgement.

Now with Man Sheiky splashing the cash, Aston Villa buying wisely and the Spuds throwing money around like confetti, i'd take 4th place at the end of the season RIGHT NOW!!

All I'll say, is that Wenger can no longer hide behind the lack of funds as a reason for failure.

Our players aren't all shite but I have to mention that this sqaud fell short last season and they are actually weaker this season, so it would stand to reason for us to be a little disenchanted with the lack of transfer activity.
