Man City will bid for....

Post by barnfield88 »

RONALDO in january....

Al-Fahim and the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG) are plotting to follow up the sensational capture of Robinho on transfer deadline day with the signing of Manchester United's prize asset once the transfer window re-opens next year.

"Ronaldo has said he wants to play for the biggest club in the world, so we will see in January if he is serious," Al-Fahim told Arabian Business magazine.

The big stars ie Kaka Ronaldo,Torres and wait for it Cesc would never go to Man City unless they were in the CL.
The story goes that if Chelsea had not qualified for the CL in 2003 Abramovich would not have bought them

They reackon they will be the biggest club in the world...

"But why not? We are going to be the biggest club in the world, bigger than both Real Madrid and Manchester United."

During the interview, conducted moments after ADUG and City signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the change of ownership, Al-Fahim also outlined his ambition to bring Liverpool's Fernando Torres and Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas to Eastlands.

He added: "We're not just going to spend money on anyone, but if we can get the biggest players in the world, and of course if the manager wants them, then we will get them."

Poor City fans.. Their team is a toy now, and they can't do anything about it.

Just the thought of these kind of people (Abramovich, Al-Fahim, etc) owning our own club, makes me sick.

To clear up things, would anyone here accept an owner of that sort? I would rather not win a trophy for the next 10 years.

Dont you realise these people dont muck around, look at their racing empire, they pay millions and i mean millions for a yearling and if it turns out to be a dud they go again, never stop.

Dont think theyre are in it for a short play thing.

I'm afraid to say we are now behind Chelsea, Utd & City (not that we were ever in front of them) in the money stakes.

This is the beginning of the end for the premier league. When it's not about football anymore only how much money you have, who will support the teams? People will go to be entertained and not care who's playing.

Who wants to build a team with talent when you can just buy a team. Manchester City will be the biggest club in the world until someone with even more money buys another team.

This is a sad day for football.
