Emirates Cup Saturday

Post by stats »

All the hype is on Sunday where i can alot of people are getting exited about (in which i've been for the cup itself since it was first held about)
Vieria returing is going to be great & maybe he might do Cesc over (hopefulley not though)
Edu is on his way back now in a Valencia shirt, in my opinon Arsenal's unsung hero
PSG were be in the cup as well as we face them on Saturday at 4
Does anyone care about the Saturday matches & will you watch Valencia play?
JW as i know a West Ham fan that would like to go to watch Arsenal play as he has a soft spot for them like i do for West Ham (lets not go off topic ere 8) )

Always thought that we did bad business selling edu, we could really do with him in our midfield this season.

Would love to see Edu back (in an Arsenal shirt) although think we have enough in the centre!

Not on TV here :(

I'll have to be content with reading match reports and watching youtube highlights when I wake up tomorrow morning.

Got to say lads very impressed by clichy looked the fittest of the lot, Bendtner was good not just the goal but other bits, Diaby good again, hleb showed the run more often we would like to see from him to get us a penalty, almunia good game, i think it's rather harsh if he dosn't get many games in the upcoming season, and nice to see Senderos soughting out the backline even with Gallas, pushes the troops us and issuing gallas round nice to see.

Bendtner look good in the runs he made and the effort he put in just needs that finishing touch he had while he was on loan last year, as for the penalty i have forgot about that already

diaby and clichy outstanding 2day,, glad bendner scored,, will do him good.. poor enough upfront thou wit strikers playin in the middle again and lookin 4 the ball instead of stayin by the area,, lot of improvment needed thou,, still a win is awin

i agree, enjoyed bendtners performance but he could have got a hattrick with a little more confidence (and flipping sweet penalty taking skills)

clichy was top class. diaby and denilson looked quality and senderos seemed to be playing with some confidence which i like to see. he hardly gave the ball away once

valencia looked alright but the way inter played i think the arsenal ladies could have given them a run for their money.
