Sunderland Away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sunderland Away

Post by Reg Niseth »

I hoping to travel more this season and give the Grove a miss. Anyone on here going to Sunderland.

Six of us booked to stay in durham Friday and Saturday.

We know a few lads in Peterlee and they look after us. By that I mean they organise cabs, pick-ups, travel, ale, possibly a tart if you want one. Only costs a couple of Bacardi Breezers.

The guy that organises coaches from the village to the ground is a very well known and respected face up there. What he says goes.

He's featured in Cass Pannant's Terrace Legends book.

If anyone is going up, pm

There was a few of us in Keano's before the game, think most were in either the Colliers or the Weatherspoons.

We also go in the social clubs that line the road once you get over the bridge.
