i haven't been to a match in ten years!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i get £3.50 a week from my paper round and i do 260 fukin papers so i can onli go like once every three months or so. plus we dont hav sky so we have to go down to the club to watch it which is like 30 miles away so ye but still gutted for u mate.
u shud go down to barnet sumtymz and watch the reserves like we do altho i spose it depends wer u live

The whole "oh, you don't go to every game, that means you're not a real fan" thing pisses me off. It is a lot different than a few years ago when games were a lot more affordable. These days, we're expected to pay about £40 for each game. Being a fan of the Arsenal but not attending games is nothing to be ashamed of. I've gone to maybe 90% of the home games for the last 15 years, but last season I was limited to 5 games as I was living in the States. That was murder for me, so I dread to think how the grovegooner feels!

No games in 15 years and still gives a fuck. That's a true Gooner!
