the mexican waves. your opinion?
Can we see this happening throughout the season or is it just a pre season thing?
I dont mind them myself but I have heard a few people moan about it!

MY GOD!!!!
People really do complain about everything!!!!!
I must admit, i quite liked it, certainly gave everyone a good laugh, and i really cant remember the last time i was involved in one.
Made me laugh how the upper tier kept lagging behind due to the corners. It appear the designers fuct up. They really should have designed the stadium to be more "Mexican Wave Friendly" ha ha ha
Not to mention the fact that for just a few seconds, everyone gets to stand up without being told to sit down again!!!!!
Still begs the question though, How the fuck did Mexican Waves start off in the very beginning?????
Regards
Craig

SAY HELLO - WAVE GOODBYE!!
WELL I FOR ONE FECKING HATE IT!!
I HATE IT AT THE CRICKET, AND I HATE IT AT THE FOOTBALL - ESPECIALLY WHILE THE GAME IS IN PROGRESS.
NOW IF YOU REALLY FEEL THE NEED TO DO THE WAVE
, THEN AT LEAST DO IT AT AN APPROPRIATE TIME. MAYBE WHEN THERE IS A LONG STOPPAGE OR BEFORE THE GAME/START OF THE SECOND HALF.
I COULD EVEN JUST ABOUT ACCEPT IT HAPPENING TOWARDS THE END OF A GAME WHEN WE ARE WINNING THE MATCH COMFORTABLY, BUT ANYTIME ELSE DISTRACTS FROM THE FOOTBALL!!
TODAY, FOR LONG PERIODS OF THE GAME PEOPLE WERE LOOKING OUT FOR THE PROGRESS OF THE WAVE AND WEREN'T EVEN WATCHING THE MATCH!!
THEY PAY £30 FOR A TICKET AND DON'T EVEN BOTHER PAYING ATTENTION TO THE ACTION!!
AND I BET YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT THAT THE C**TS THAT STARTED IT OFF WERE NOT REGULAR VISITORS TO ARSENAL OR EVEN FOOTBALL!!
I KNOW SOME PEOPLE ON HERE WILL DISAGREE WITH ME.
THERE ARE OBVIOUSLY THOSE WHO LIKE IT AND SEE IT AS A BIT OF FUN. BUT IN MY OPINION, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DO THE WAVE - GO TO FECKING WIMBLEDON AND DO IT WITH THE MUPPETS THERE!!
SORRY IF I SEEM A BIT OF A KILL-JOY, BUT THAT'S JUST HOW I HONESTLY FEEL. RANT OVER!!

i'm firmly with the belfast boy on this one. when i was there saturday it only happened during the arsenal game (and not the incredibly dull inter game before it) and the stupid stuck up toff sat next to me suddenlt came alive and thought it was such fun. nobody sang though. just a stupid bloody wave. and the counting down of the clock too? what the fuck was that all about?
