Ok lads??? don't worry I'm not gettin carried away, but I thought that was an excellent team performance with a lot of positives and strong performances throughout - end of, plus AW has stated that he's well aware that we are still a bit short on numbers, so we have deffo got more signins to look forward to :D
PS - what about Sky's choice of tune for the closing credits...... classic 8)

Belfast didnt here the closing tune as I was at the game what was it?

I think we played better today than we done yesterday!
Traore was Inmense coming on No one has said anything about him there was one point when He took 5 inter players on all at once! We have 2 great left backs!!! After Nigel winterburn we have been lacking in that department! well there was another fellow but I think we sold him to some come in spain Silvinho or is sylvinhio (depending on what passport he is using)

and I thought young Gibbs was a real bonus, wasn't it him that scored that wonder goal against the scum in the semis of the FA youth cup???

Yes I thought Master Gibbs did well, overall I thought they all played well, but Cesc looked a bit weary near the end. I was getting a bit frustrated though when they were trying to dribble into the net again. Also I liked the way the team were putting themselves about and taking no shit!

Well that was my first visit today, and must say when walking up from Holloway Road, got goosy bumps, with all the supporters milling around and great atmosphere. Gonna have to win the lottery and buy a box!

And do you all forget Hleb!!!

Did I not say he would have a great season? 8)

It's time for a quintuple this year if we (like spurs) count the Emirates Cup as a major trophy.

8) There are positives to be taken out of todays game for sure but there are also some negatives. Hleb's form in the last 3 games has been very encouraging as has Diaby while Sagna seems to be settling in quite nicely. It may though be a concern that, like in so many games last season, we are on top but still concede from a rare breakaway and I thought our 2 centre backs looked vunerable in the air again. For 60 minutes today young Gibbs showed lovely skill, technique & composure until he began to tire but a lot of fans will be keeping a keen eye on him after such a fine debut. The thing to remember overall is that this was only a pre-season game and against a team 2 weeks behind us in their pre-season at that. It's important to know that the few weaknesses we have shown can be corrected before the league kicks off and also show that the positives can be carried into the season. I dont think anybody has ever doubted we have a team but now we need to show we have a squad.

LEFT MIDFIELD. THE KID SCORED A CRACKER IN THE FA YOUTH CUP SEMI-FINAL AGAINST MAN UTD LAST SEASON AND DONE ALRIGHT TODAY.

BUT, TRUTH BE TOLD, I WOULD STILL RATHER WE BOUGHT IN SOMEONE WITH MORE EXPERIENCE/QUALITY.

the professor must be in a real dillema with regards to his first choice 11 and what formation to play them .

if cesc and gilberto play central midfield , how can we utilize Hleb and Rosicky who are both infinately better down the centre as compared to on the wings .

Do you guys think we might play with 5 midfielders and only 1 striker next season ?

Both goals were from crosses and i think it was gallas both times who got court short, its not much of an excuse but we did play two games in 24 hour so was bound to be tierd.
I do agree that Toure and Gallas have work to do and need to play better together
