Post by Gooner1315 »

Strange i know, but im bored and i havnt seen anything like this done before. So,do you wear our colours on a matchday?? I think anyone over the age of 15/16 shouldnt wear them, dont ask me why,iv just always thought that. Il probably get gunned down now,but i dont mean dont buy them,i mean wear to a game.

Insults start...........................................NOW

Good good.

Yeah i agree tottally. When you see pissed up 40/50 year olds stumbling around pissed in Arsenal shirts its like :? :?

The shirts just feel tacky nowadays, cant beat getting ready and putting on your crisp new Pringle jumper on in the winter and your Henri Lloyd jacket, gives you an extra buzz,i feel anyway.

But i can understand why people do wear colours to games.

I have never been able to understand the wearing of colours (altho each to their own, before I need a flak jacket) to a game. I think its the way it was for all my mates when I first started to go to football purely because of the climate of the era, if you understand where I'm coming from :?:

It makes me feel good, as you say, to get dressed and look smart casual to go to my Arsenal.

I'm in my mid-20s now, but I always go to games in my Arsenal shirt, shorts, socks and even a pair of clean Gola football boots... without studs, obviously (I'm not stupid  )

My theory is, if Arsenal are a player short - for whatever reason - who are they going to ask to fill in? the guy who's already wearing the full kit.. or a guy in jeans and a jumper? It's a no brainer

Yeah i understand what your saying, and agree completely with you.

Agaisnt WBA i saw a bloke, not a junior gunner or a kid,a man in his mid 20's wearing a captains armband, and i was like

They should ban people over the age of 16 to wear football shirts to games.

That is a joke before everyone tells me to go support the Chav Crunts or the Shite down the road (i wont use the offensive name)
