and probably in the wrong place but do any of you young whippersnapper whizz kids know anyfing about computers? My internet explorer has gone very weird over the last two days and is very slow to respond, takes me about 5 attempts and 20 minutes to actually get it started and that's more by luck than judgement Once started, it's still not operating properly, once I get to online gooner I have to wait a couple of minutes before the forum link responds and it's the same on other sites. Definitely a computer prob and not an IP one tho. Anyhoo, if I suddenly disappear for any length of time you'll know that this machine has totally fucked up just in case anyone misses me
Cheers mate, all advice gratefully recieved. Best not to look too closely at the end of a long boozy weekend but I'll have a better look tomorrow. Given one or two other things happening with me computer at the moment my problem could possibly be wider than just IE. I'll give your link a more detailed read tomorrow, thanks
its weird that.. my internet explorer has been funny lately too, extra slower than usual and i did everything that people told me to do but its still slow!

Tried deleting history, temporary internet files, cookies etc but the problem seems more fundamental than that Thanks for the advice tho. As for porn, that could'nt possibly be the problem, never look at that no sireeeeee
for the last two weeks when i delete history, cookies etc everything disapears except the gooner link to the twente game site, maybe there is a viris in this bit of the site....every time i put in www.o up it comes and i keep getting party poker, online cash and singles websites coming up every 5 mins....anyone else getting this, ish thish steve mclarensh renge?
this stuff certainly sounds virus related. time to use the security software that slows down the pc...
there are perfectly legitimate sites that will put a virus on your machine without you even realising it. hackers are very sophisticated these days. and their viruses may not even be picked up by security software updates for a couple of weeks which is why it's always a good idea to keep websites like online banking ones in your favourites and then copy and paste passwords etc from a word document where it isn't obvious what they are/relate to (should your pc ever get nicked). keystroke viruses are ones to look out for.
