On The Brink (16/9)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter… actually, there is a bit of a tradition at the Lane of sacking managers by the end of September. I reckon a failure to win on Thursday could see Ramos given his cards. You would have thought the Spuds had finally got a decent manager with Ramos’ achievements at Sevilla. But there is just something about that club…

It's good to see our policy of prudence is faring a lot better than the boom & bust down the road. :D

One of Ramos biggest failings is his failure to learn English. How can he be at a club for a year and still have to rely on Wise"s best mate still translating for him.Ramos has not done himself any favours.

What's the difference between the Spuds and a pencil that's been sharpened at both ends?....The pencil's got two points!!!!

Ramos spent big but did not buy a defensive midfielder to partner Modric...a big mistake.

When I heard that one earlier in the week it was:
Q What is the difference between a cocktail stick and Tottenham
A A cocktail stick has two points
Are there any other variations?

Sell your 3 best strikers and replace them with unknowns - working out what is gonna happen next is hardly rocket science is it? Still as long as Bentley is having a good time - that's all that matters ;0)

Is Ramos buying in the players or have the Scum got a director of football doing the buying for him?

Great article! I laughed my ass off by the end of it.

Thanks for the joke as well! I laughed my ass off again!

I posted it for my friends on Arsenal Canada. They're sure to get a chuckle or two out of it.

I think my ass grew back. Wow, I need to hit the gym.
