Physical + Skillful?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can anyone suggest any?

I think I can think of some but I won't post them until I have a bit of evidence to support my case (just like someone asked for on another thread regarding Rosicky and Hleb :) )
Yep there is Cana (Olympic Marseille) and Behrami from Lacio

I don't think are players are not strong, I just mean we don't have someone like Keown Adams or vieria at the minute, someone who has alot of aggression.

I don't belive that are team gets "bullied" up north like some people say, I just like to see one of our players who realy gets stuck into the other team and lets them know they are arround.

Someone mentioned Fab4, and that is true this season he seems to have been like a terrier in some games, which I liked to see.

Infact there are not many tough players like this in prem at all at the minute. Mabye it has moved on.

Well, good to see I can come home from a rather boring day at school to find that while I slept the night before a number of people were talking about sexually abusing me. None of you are preists are you?

My brand new avatar, isn't actually me, it is in fact, GOLLUM/SMEAGOL from the wonderful novel/film 'The Lord of the Rings'.

As for my own list, i will get back to you all, but I would think someone who isn't a central midfielder would be better as we have more than enough of them. (Hence I posted the video of that winger earlier. Incidentally, it has been almost finalised that he will be leaving Sydney FC and travelling over to England to play for Sheffield United.)

Actually come to think of it, there isn't a single player in the premiership universally feared the way Keane and Viera were.

Lets just try to come up with the most brutish, violent side we can, just for the fun of it.

I'll put forward Roy Keane.

Great player, shame he played for the Mancs. If he had stayed for the World Cup in 2002 can you imagine how much better Ireland would have been?

And while we're on the subject of good memories, this:

Makes me laugh watching Barthez, and Cygan getting in between Vieria and Keane lol.

id say micah richards has the potential to be a tough physical player, his versatility is useful but i doubt he woudl go for anything less than 20m. Nolan is another but we have too amny centre mids, but ot find a tough winger is pretty difficult seein most these days have to try and win free-kicks and be on th eflamboyant side. I dont think neither faye from bolton or boupa-diop from fulham are good enuff for our side, despite the fact they would add a physical presence to our side. Diaby def has the potential, senderos i reckon looks like he's been in a few fights so im surprised he doesnt get stuck in, but we could do with a few more physical players, and for me they need to be british, but it difficulut to find someone to fit the bill. Anyone thought about us buying dyer?? not a bad player if he can stay injury free, and would def offer us something diff and versatil altho he aint the mmost physical. Altho we could buy bowyer and then we would be hard as nails!!

If we bought Bowyer and Dyer then half our matches would be spent pulling them apart!

Physical, but you know, towards the opposition, is what we're talking about...
