What kind of logic is that!!! It has got nothing to do with knowing him.

I do not know who he is, but if he is an addict, why should his family have to see their name dragged through the mud on the front pages of the tabloids?

It could all be dealt with sensibly behind closed doors by professionals rather than the gutter press.

On another point, and to clarify for those who appear to not know, cocaine has absolutely no addictive qualities within it. It is socially addictive not physically addictive. Users begin to feel they cannot enjoy themselves without it. Heroin addicts on the other hand suffer physically if they don't get their fix. I discovered that from a freind that is a chemist.
