Drug Taking In Footy…

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thankyou for your recent request of sharing information that may be useful to us.
We would be happy to run a full feature length on the story, If you have substantial evidence we would prefer to publish it on our Sunday paper, as it attracts more people.
If you could reply with a telephone number then one of our team would be happy to arrange an interview with you.

And at the end it just goes on about keeping you annomynous.

3 different departments emailed me aswel
make sure you e-mail the players extended family and all his friends so they cann rally round him and save him the devil. or quartz will not be happy :barscarf:

I don't think it's very fair to be honnest. Ok he's a football player, ok he wins tons of money, but he is not meant to be an example for anyone! He's entitled to some privacy like anyone!
It's his life and wether he takes a line once every year or once every hour is not our problem.
I never understood why people get so excited over stories like that. What does it change?
I mean, basically, if the pictures where to be shown on a pundit, it could ruin his carreer and his life... I wouldn't want to be the reason for that.

But then again, if I had the pictures and the opportunity to have a nice bag of money for it, maybe things would be different....

That's the thing... I agree that it's none of our business what this player does. He's a football player, and I think people are far too obssessed with the private lives of celebrities.

So, personally... it makes no difference to me if he takes coke or not.. as long as he isn't taking performance enhancing drugs, then he can do what he likes for all I care.

But... and it's a big mrgnu sized butt... (sorry  ) - I'd sell the pics to the press because I'd want the money, and it would have the added bonus of having a negative affect on a rival team.

I think naming anyone on this thread is a very silly thing to do.
That is exactly the type of thing that could get this forum shut down permanently. I would suggest that you edit your post to remove that name. Speculation or not, it would be better if it didn't appear here wouldn't it

Selling pics to the tabs and mags is lowlife scum behaviour. What people do in their own time is their own business.

If you want to make money out of it, or give the money away and get your 15 minutes of fame, go for it, just be honest about why you're doing it.

this is the best thread ive ever seen. although i have to say this could be very dodgy. so be careful! ive got loads of dirt on football players. my friends brother plays for readings first team (wont name who) and heard some pretty mad stories about various prem players on nights out.

although not related to drugs, kieran dyer was at a party when playing for newcaslte. some magician bloke was doing some magic which didnt impress dyer. dyer then pulled out a few grand in cash and burnt it, saying.....here's a bit of magic. what a prick!

Well many here have disagreed with me on this, some with scorn, but all I can say now is

If a few years ago, a Chelsea fan had clear pictures of Paul Merson taking coke, and he sold them to a tabloid and they made the front page...how would you feel?

Fuck me, he got caught anyway. If Merse was dumb enough to let someone snap photos of him snorting a bit of columbian, he deserves to get his mug printed all over the place!

DO you think the photos of Merse in tears in the front page is any less harrowing?
