he's not really a goal scorer more of a play maker so lots of pressure on h9im as Liverpool bought him to score for them

He had a huge price tag because chelski wanted him last season, I will be suprised if he shows hes worth even half that amount.

Torres isnt really a prolific goal scorer that will get you 20 + goals in a season. Hes quite a talented player though and will create oppurtunities for others. I think he will do ok, i dont see him being a big flop. Babel is another issue, I think he needed to join a team who could improve him as a player, i dont think Rafa Benitez is the sorta manager he needed at this stage of his career.

Have to disagree and feel Torres is quality.

At Atletico he was always lone striker, now he will get service to add goals to his game.

Would have loved to have got him and/or Babel but both over priced which I think was all that stopped AW buying them.

he was made look quality because he was surrounded by average players in spain also there was a lot of expectation of him in the world cup and only for cesc he would of flopped

Torres is an interesting one he's certainly strong enough for the Prem, but still overrated IMO and certainly not worth what they paid for him, and he'll have to up his game to get 20+ goals over here, much the same as Dudu I s'pose except Torres cost three times as much and L'pool are payin him five as much and he is definately not going to get the level of service that Eduardo will get.............. it's certainly gonna be fun seein how things turn out - can't wait, roll on next wknd :D
