A very pleased Gooner!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A very pleased Gooner!

Post by Cesc is God »

We have won two competitions with very good teams in. Our defence has been solid - much better than last season especially in the air. And attacking wise, we look very sharp. Clichy, Hleb, v. Persie and the new boy Eduardo have been outstanding!

I'm really looking forward to this season and if we can escape our curse of injury plague then I believe we can challenge for the title race.

Your thoughts?

very pleased with the team tonight. sagna looks very solid. clichy will be as good as cashley. we have so many diffrent options. also flamini looks the part in midfield. he does not look out of place like before. strong in the tackle for someone so small. in midfield we look very well covered.

The future is bright, although TH has gone, the pace and skill he takes with him is off set by the freedom it will give our other players. Another year of experience minus the new stadium factor 'equals' a great F###ING year. I for one can't F###ING wait!!!! Roll on u Red 'n Whites....

Well, Stearmaster mate, if you have a look at my profile you'll see that i'm head chef down at the Marriott and have been since......hmmmm, since those **** shit themselves. My interests are anything to do with the bacterial contents of pasta and the biological impact that has on humans, especially those humans who happen to be wearing Scum shirts whilst playing the knees up mother browns from down the road like :D :D :D

My thoughts are thus; we need a winger and a goalscoring midfielder.

No it hasn't. What on earth made you think that?!

Don't you think it has been solid?

We kept a clean sheet and all the DF's played well...
