drop ade

Post by sunnyp »

For a player who starts almost every game and plays the full 90mins week in week out i personally don’t think thats good enough for Arsenal. We make so many chances in every game and for a striker who has played in every min of every game in the league this season to have scored in only 1 game is poor.

Yes people say that he works hard for the team and has loads of assists? Then maybe we should have sold Adebayor for £30m and signed Emily Heskey on a free if its a hardworking striker we want a the club.

The sad fact is that Adebayor looks to have been a 1 season wonder and now when we try and sell him next year we will be lucky to get £15m.

His current form in the league is terrible, only scoring in ONE league game out of eight.

He has played a full 90mins in games vs West Brom,Fulham,Newcastle,Bolton,Hull,Sunderland & Everton without scoring.

Based on his current form how is he being picked ahead of Vela and Bendtner who have both scored when given the starts this season?

Wenger made a huge mistake in the summer in not cashing in on the offside king from Togo,Loads of us knew that he would not repeat his 24 league goals from last season. Remember that 6 of them were vs Derby!

Now it seems that Wenger is scared to drop him,Would Bendtner or Vela have been given this much time without a goal in the league? Of course not.

Come on wenger, grow a set of balls and drop this clown and give Bendtner a good run in the team.

Ade, this season, has he's been utter dog shite... and I'm one of the fans who defended him over the summer, and criticised fans for booing him.

But I'm not blind, and I'm not stupid.. and Ade has been awful.

Yes, he's scored 6 goals. However, he's only scored in 1 of our 8 league games (hat trick) and 3 in the CL... 1 in the Preliminary round, and 2 against a shockingly bad Porto team. Oh, and 2 of his 6 goals were penalties.

His overall performances have been poor too. In the games when we've needed a spark, when things weren't going our way, Ade disappears. Yes, he's taking the plaudits when we beat Blackburn and Porto.. but we need players sweating blood for the team every week, not just when they feel like it.

Surely, Ade is in the team because he's big and strong and can hold the ball up, and link the play? well, no.. as he's been piss poor at that so far, and even as a striker, his finishing has been crap and he's always being flagged offside.

This season, he's offered almost nothing, and his body language suggests all is not right. Is he tired?? because he looks it. F*ck know's why... he had the summer off, so he should be fresh! - or has all that contract talk worn him out

I don't hate Ade for what he did over the summer. It saddened me, but I've moved on. What pisses me off is his body language, and more importantly, he puts f*ck all effort in anymore.

Where is the happy, smiley, energetic young Togolese striker who we signed??? because I don't recognise this sulky, lazy crunt.. I really don't.

Unfortunately, you could edit my post a little and it could quite easily be used to describe the performances of several of our players this season... and that is why the title is out of reach.

Hate to say it, but he's picked up Henry's worst habits (sulking when he doesn't get the ball, drifting out left constantly leaving noone in the middle). The difference is, Henry knew how to break the offside trap, rarely missed sitters and most of the time worked his bollocks off for the team.

Yep. He's not in the team on merit. Give Bendtner a chance, and if that doesn't work, let's have Vela!

whats really annoying me about Big Ade is has already been pointed out is his body language, and i don't know if anyone else has noticed that after each goal was scored on sat not once did Ade get in on the celebration or even look happy that we scored. seems to me that he has totally lost interest and would rather be somewhere else.

arseblog pointed out this picture after the cesc scored at sunderland. Ade looks over the moon we have just got a last minute equalizer....

Imagine if he'd scored that goal. We'd have his wanky little dance with Eboue. If he's not centre of attention, he's not interested. He's an arrogant *word censored*!

in another pick of that cesc celebration vela looks ecstatic and is rushing over to cesc. ade isnt hungry anymore, he knows he will never get subbed and must start to realise why his name is not being sung this season. we love a tryer even if he isnt pele so ade please get ur finger out and start moving. the diving on saturday was atrocious aswell.

i really cant believe this guy has created so much hatred from our fans - he's certainly not the first trouble maker we ahve had, and wont be the last, and u shouldnt believe everything that is written in the papers - i agree he should be scoring more, but he is a confidence player who thrives of the fans, and u can tell he is strugglinhg at the mo so we should be getting behind him - if he scores the goals, thats good right??

People get frustrated with Ade because he's not good enough to be our main striker, who we got to rely on to win us games. He'd a be a great player for us as a back up player and if we ever are gonna be able to challange for the league properly, No...we didn't do that last season beacause we weren't in the title race for the last 3rd of the season which is what it is all about, we need a more reliable striker than him to lead our frontline. Wenger is never gonna drop him right now but my hope is that RvP can keep fit for a longer period of time and reach his full potential and that either Vela or Eduardo when back can become a real top class striker for us.

I was pleased to see Ade score tonight, and hopefully that'll give him some much needed confidence.

I know he does our tits in at times, but he seems to be a nailed on starter every week, so we need him firing on all cylinders for the West Ham and - especially - the Sp*rs games!

I'd love to shove that 5-1 so far up their arse next Wednesday, and as Ade seems to love scoring against the crunts.. hopefully he's just starting to kick into gear!

Sell the fucking muppet, he dont want to be at The Arsenal, and i dont want him at The Arsenal. He's a one season wonder and it's gone to his head. FUCKING TOSSER, a lazy Henry is better than Ade when he's at his best. And as for kissing the badge, id rather sit in club level than see him do that. He dont deserve us...............end of.

He hasnt done well at all. I personally think the formation AW started with today is our best option except I would much rather have RVP start up front by himself and not Ade. Imagine this line-up, which I feel is our best:

Almunia
Sagna--Toure--Gallas/Silvest--Clichy
Walcott--Rosicky--Fabregas--Diaby--Nasri
Van Persie

That is a winning line-up in my opinion. Of course Rosicky is out for who knows how long but Denilson fills in okay for now. 5 in the mid helps out our weak defense.
