amsterdam tourny

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was there in Amsterdam and there was a spud in our end acting like a tw*t (like a spud). He squared up to the guy next to me so he got pissed off at this spud taking the piss in our end and pushed him backwards. The spud rolled like a beach-ball all the way down to the bottom of the stand and fell on his arse. It was the funniest thing I have seen at a football game for quite some time. I felt bad for laughing but hey-ho, he wasn't badly hurt.

There was a Leeds fan come in with his Arsenal mate and the group of chanting lads well intoxicated nearby saw him and burst into "Leeds Leeds Leeds" chant to welcome him. The Spud should probably count himself lucky!!

Oh yeah .......brilliant sunny hot day so what do I do before climbing the stairs buy a bottle of water. Thinking they would only take the lid off come through the turnstiles and they don't allow water at all to be taken in  I just stood to the side and drank it though.

Still those stairs were nothing compared to small mountains in Thailand!

Just like to say in gooner language "Well played" to RVP. Just as I was fretting that we were going to finish 0-0 and screaming for Bendtner to come on Robin Van Persie came up trumps. He got a good reception from the crowd unlike two years ago. Also for his post-match words talked about elsewhere.
