for sunday would like to see this team play. ive put djourou at rb and i think he can do a better job there than eboue and was very impressed how he came on for clichy at bolton earlier in the season and slotted in at rb as tho he plays there (also it means we have a player in the defence who knows how to head it!!)

Of course wenger will pick a team most of us disagree with all will probably "rest" silvestre and leave song in alongside gallas as the only change in the back 4 and one of our wide men(probably nasri) likely to be on the bench as rvp comes back into starting line up
Agreed Augie. Owing to the disturbingly large amount of hammers season ticket holders in my family, I've been at the this fixture in the home stand for the last 16 years and can remember a lot more bad results than good. I think the stats even back it up. But not my first game in 1992 which made me fall in love with all things Arsenal so this fixture has a special place in my heart
BT I think that was my first match at Upton Park too and been to everyone in the away section of course since. I remember standing on the then terracing and not seeing very much at all.

How strange! That was the era of the horrible 'magic eye' away kit. And i still fell in love.
is anyone worried like me that toure and gallas are going to come staight back into the 1st team - after watching toure 'lead' the team against everton, i can understand just how much better gallas is at organisign the defnece and the team, altho that could partly have been down to wengers dodgy 1st half line up.
id prefer to see gallas and djourou/silvestre, but think wenger will restore both. hopefully we'll play a system similar to the one we played midweek.
I know it won't be this side but I think it should be.
3-0 to the Arsenal
Please tell me that this your lineup without king kolo. Silvestre was terrible, we should give him a carlin cup match and then see and as for Gallas......... Fulham and Hull..... both losses which were due to his DREADFUL defending of set pieces. I do love Djourou though :D

It's the sort of discussion that goes on and on, and everyone has a different opinion.
Who should we play?
- Silvestre? Gallas? Toure? Djourou? Song?
Lets be honest, we're damned whichever 2 we pick as they're all a bunch of clowns.
We have a wonderfully talented squad, with lots of potential in every position... sadly, centre back isn't one of them.
For what it's worth, I'd go for Gallas and Silvestre, although I can't say I've got a great deal of confidence in either of them.
No way will it happen, but we can all wish. Kolo sitting just in front of the back 3 will give the protection it needs, and Cesc can spring the ball to the front 3 and drift up field
