Whose City is it anyway?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Whose City is it anyway?

Post by Cus Geezer »

On Tuesday I was about to watch the Arsenal game in a pub up west, when it was suddenly turned over by the establishment to watch....those *word censored*.

I then had to hunt around the west end to find a pub showing us, they all were showing Man Ure and refused to show us. I eventually found one without the sound - by that point we were 3-1 up.

That's it I've had it.

This is our city, our clubs should be prioritized. These people should be reminded what city this is and who actually plays here.

It's time to name and shame these fuckers.

I wouldn't want the Cockney Reds being gooners as:

We already have enough quiet, glory hunting, unpassionate fans

And we don't want that sort of SCUM associated with Arsenal.

It's not about wanting them to be gooners, they can support whoever they want. Just fuck off home and watch the nobs on free to air ITV1, stop fucking publicly imposing your wanky side on me in pubs while my side is on digital channel ITV4.

This is London, not Manchester. Three stops on the tube from Highbury & Islington. Try turning over Man Ure in a pub in Salford for Arsenal and see how far you'd get!

Enough is enough!

That's it in a nut shell boys, now here's the space to name and shame the fuckers.

And this is a London-wide thing, for once I don't mind joining forces with the twats from N17 or Wet Sham or god forbid the Chavs.

This is London, London pubs should prioritize the London sides.

I can understand why an all british tie was prioritized to be fair.

I suppose the next time Forest Green Rovers v Grays on Setanta clashes with a Champions League tie that'll be prioritized in pubs will it?

Anyway this isn't just about last tuesday, in certain London pubs Man Utd are always prioritized and it fucks me off.

I agree, let's take our pubs back. This is London, our city, were our fans live. If I wanted to live in a manc area, I'd move to Bangkok or Exeter.
