Both did better then Giggs managed last season
Rosicky got into a good habit last season of making little run inside to the far post when ball came across, he picks up on that again and he will score more then six and Cesc should score more then 5, he gets forward enough, can finish but last season he missed a lot of open goals which I don't think he will do again. Cesc certainly should get more then 5 this time

Good thread this, a lot of positive posts, and I am in agreement cos even if the team hadn't improved, it would probably still be impossible to suffer a year like we did last season, but there is absolutely no doubt that there is a feelgood factor at the club!
IMO this is made even more significant by the fact that we HAVE just sold our captain/talisman and the greatest player ever to grace our club the premiership and arguably the planet as well, I mean surely if we take the time to think about the implications of that fact we can begin to see things from AW's perspective before we judge!
Le Boss came to the conclusion probably quite a while ago as did some or most of us that we were actually a better TEAM without the presence of our No. 14 and that the best player in the world was actually slowing us down!
Now we all know that the boss is no mug and the fact that he is so confident in the team that he let TiTi go, and has so far been proved right with pre-season has surely got to be reason for optimism!
We were always more prolific when the opposition were the same as our resident pessimists, in that they didn't know where our goals were coming from
so I'll put money on the fact that every single member of our team will score more goals than he did last year, which I know some will say that's not hard, but we only scored one less than Chav$ki, but IF we hit form, watch out!
Finally as has already been touched upon, when AW brought Bobby to the club I can remember everybody wonderin why he bothered, cos he couldn't tackle (in fact his tackle on Paddy at home to Juve in the CL was the exception that proves the rule - it only took him 6 yrs
) he only scored 4 league goals and was reported many times, critisizing it for being far too physical yet he went on to become a legend!
There has been no such moaning from any of the current crop, they are aware that it's a tough league and are determined to make it, and that's why I have no doubt we will see a big all round improvement this year cos the skill level is very high and I think that we are now learning to be combative, and if that is the case it will make a massive difference
