My patience with AW has almost run out. I'd give him one more summer, then the run until January 2010. If his obstinacy hasn't shifted I'd let him go just before that January 2010 transfer window. Effectively, that gives him 1 year.

I've said end of the season. It's not about silverware, it's about improvement. If we sign a quality CDM in January (don't care if it's a 17 year old Venezuelean reserve or a £40m signing from Chelsea at this juncture) we fix the holes in our side and look set for a challenge next season I will support him. If we toothlessly drift to the end of the season with a team full of Eboues and Denilsons (it's not their fault they're so shit, it's Wenger's fault for picking them), I'll be a lot more interested in keeping hold of Fabregas than Wenger.

well, end of the season if nothing has won this year...

However, if he changes his "buying" philosophy, I don't mind to give him one more summer....Sorry guys, I still think that he is our best manager ever :barscarf:

that gobby *word censored* mourinho was right, he's a jammy git not having any pressure on him, unfortunately times are changing. personally i dont know exactly how the fans opinion can be expressed without causing a tabloid party of crisis proportions, but something needs to be done

Wenger was lucky in that for the first 6 years of his arsenal reign, he only had one other rival. Whatever happened, we'd finish second at worst, and have a decent run in the cups. Chelsea aren't going away, Liverpool fnally look like title challengers, and Villa aren't far off either.

Wenger to stay, but to be grilled by board as to why he:

Failed to replace /Diarra/Flamini/Gilberto

Failed to sort out Centre Backs
