Daily Mirror links us to Leeds midfielder Fabian Delph
Arsenal to get Leeds teen Fabian Delph
By Football Spy 4/11/2008 The Daily Mirror
Leeds will sell Fabian Delph, 18, to Arsenal in January - as long as the Gunners send him back on loan for the rest of the season.
Arsenal lead the chase for the £6m-rated England U19 stopper. Sunderland and Bolton are also keen.
Leeds are resigned to losing Delph, but not before he has helped them win promotion.

Young keeper to join Gunners
McDermott set to sign when he turns 16
By Richard Torgerson 5th November 2008
Teenage goalkeeper Sean McDermott has revealed he plans to sign for Arsenal next year.
The young shot-stopper, who is currently contracted to Norwegian side Vag, has trained with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Reading and Falkirk.
Charlton, Portsmouth, Ipswich and Rangers had also reportedly shown an interest in his services, but he has opted to join the Gunners when he turns 16 in May 2009.
McDermott said: "The facilities, coaches, and environment at Arsenal have made up my mind. This is all I've ever dreamt of."
The player's advisor, Jim Solbakken, added: "Arsenal have shown that they are great at developing young players.
"Sean, at the age of 16, will be given a chance to train with their academy. It is a great chance for him."

If anyone listened to that model Pro' Paul (Wanker) Merson (gargle, gargle :awnker: ) last night on Sky Sports News, then we have no money to spend anyway.
I have no doubt that the Arsenal board, as bad as they are, keep Merson totally up to date with all financial matters at the club.
Charlie is the only one of those perma tanned, just for men bunch that I have any time for.

From Miles Palmer of ArsenalNewsReview.Co.uk
Brazilian striker Lenny signs Arsenal pre-contract
He's a small, dribbling striker, not a gangling lump like Ade or RVP.
With a five foot eight inch midfield, and a five foot ten inch defence, Arsenal do need some big strikers. But big ain't always the best way to go.
He's a little bit like Juninho (of Middlesbrough) but more of a goalscoer than a playmaker.
Lenny Fernandes Coelho is 20 years old and born in Rio.
He was dropped last week by Palmeiras for signing a pre-contract to join Arsenal in January.

ARSENAL BOSS EYES YOUNG SAINT MORGAN
Schneiderlin is making waves on the South Coast
By ANDY DUNN, 08/11/2008 News of the World
ARSENE WENGER shows no sign of altering his transfer policy - by lining up another young, inexperienced foreign star.
The Arsenal boss will move for Southampton's French teenager Morgan Schneiderlin in the transfer window, having had his hand forced after growing interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder joined Saints from RC Strasbourg earlier this year but Wenger has followed his career for a long time and was thought to be happy that Schneiderlin would get experience at the Championship club.
There were even rumours that there was an unwritten agreement the player would eventually join the Gunners.
But Schneiderlin has made a big impact on the South Coast and that has alerted United and Spurs, while Fulham are also thought to be prepared to offer £5million for the France Under-19 captain.
The lengthening queue of clubs means Wenger will have to bring forward his planned move for Schneiderlin, even though a rookie defensive midfielder would not seem to be at the top of an Emirates wanted list.
