WAS YOUR DAD A GOONER

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

CORKBARRY,

REST ASSURED THAT THERE WERE MILLIONS OF ARSENAL FANS DOING LIKE-WISE IN 1987!! 8)

A BIG GOONER WELCOME TO YOU BARRY!! 8) ONE THING I HAVE TO ASK THOUGH... IS REBEL AS NICE IN REAL LIFE AS HE APPEARS ON HERE? IF SO, YOU HAVE DONE A GRAND JOB!! :D

OH, AND FOLLOWING ON FROM GUS'S POINT, DOES THE FACT HE WORKS IN AN OFF-LICENSE MEAN THAT HE STILL WEARS PAMPERS TO SAVE THE BOTHER OF A TRIP TO THE MENS TOILET?

I was actually at that game in '87. Mate of mine acquired standing tickets
with the Cov boys, six quid they were!
Had a wicked time that day watching Cov batter the ****. Keith Houchens
diving header was one of the best I've ever seen.

I've had a soft spot for Coventry ever since.

All in all that was a great season for me as I was also there at Wembley
to see our boys beat the then mighty Liverpool in the league cup final.
