People that Boo can...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wnger is merely commenting on the tiredness of our players to divert attention away from them.
He is a master of the media and is drawing attention to himself to avoid his players becoming overly scrutinised and losing their confidence - even more so than know.
Give Wenger and the team a break.

And to the anonymous guy who thinks we will fall into mid table obscurity, go support another team.
We are 4th and havent played at all well this year. Once we start playing well we will take apart team and maybe this year we will peak at the right time.
Get behind the team on Saturday, I’m sick of hearing the booing of players when people like me would give an arm and a leg to be an Arsenal member.

I don't personally choose to boo players but if I did so, that would be my fucking choice and if those around me get upset by it then tough shit. All this bollocks about it damaging the teams morale and confidence, well they aint exactly doing my morale or confidence much good of late either. Wenger the wheels are coming off and you are to blame, sort it out now before it's too late muppett.

agreeed to some degree, wenger needs to take of the smoke screen and see that cesc is going to collapse if he's played like this and we are not in the right mind frame to win a game let alone the title

i agree never boo!! i have never boo-ed a arsenal team or player.

But i also massivly agree with parts of spudmasher's post, what other way do we let the club and wenger know we are massivly pissed off and embrassed by some of his current comments in the press

being top of the fair play league, other teams tackling us and the players being to tired from the amount of games. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

He wont have any excusses left soon!!!!!! :banghead: :banghead:

I put this on the chants thread after the Fulham shitfest cos even if booing isnt the right way to go (and my personal opinion is its just counter-productive) all of us as football fans have a right to voice our feelings about what's going on at our club. And nobody should be expected to just stand/sit their in silence bottling the frustration up week after week all for the bargain price of £70!

It's to the Wanky Tottenham Hotspur tune:

If I wore Arsenal red & white and canon on my chest
I’d run myself into the ground and never nothing less
If you cant say the same or see that you are truly blessed
Then you’ll never be a Goo-ner

I would die to play for Arrr-senal
Shed blood, sweat and tears all for the cause
And if you’d only do the same I’d be proud to sing your name
My heart’s on my white sleeve where the fuck is yourrrrrs?

Not much better than booing maybe but at least it lets them know (not that should need telling) why we're so pissed off and that if they want 100% effort from us it's a 2-way street.

Fair do's Gurmokh. 8)

I guess as well the players probably wouldnt be paying that much attention to the words and would just think we were singing the Wanky Totts... song.

Only other way I can think of would be sing up for the 2 or 3 who play like they actually do care - Toure, Clichy & even Cesc despite his performances so far this season. And/or for Paddy, TA6, DB10, Keown etc who all gave it 100% for us. Not sure even that would get the point across though.

booing is a no no but i CAN see why some twats would. in the same way you shout all the sweat words under the sun at the team you clearly love. its a knee jerk reaction that ok is not right but football is a fickle world and much worse goes on in the stands.
i tried making this point on the offical forum and got shot down by the i am more holy'er than thou brigade

If you're booing you aren't a real fan. No matter what the circumstances.
Its one thing leaving 20 minutes before the game is over, but booing is worse.
