1. Holland vs Yugoslavia 1998 WC. I had a dream the night before that DB10 would score first and Holland would win 2-1. It was all I could think of the day of the game so I put a tenner on it at 50/1 on the way to the pub.
DB10 did his bit but on 90 minutes it was one all and then De Boer (Frank, I think) scuttered a low cross over from the right and it went through about four defenders, the keeper and a couple of Dutchies before Davids skidded in and got his studs to the ball and scored!! Nice-ah!!
I was leaping around the pub like a lunatic and this Dutch tourist came running down to celebrate with what he obviously thought was a countryman. Hated telling him the truth...
2. I was at the manure match in THOF in Nov 01 and had a feeling we'd be losing at half time but we'd come back to win in the second half. This feeling nagged me all morning so when I got into the NB I put a fiver on it @ 22/1. Nice-ah!!!
ALWAYS go with a gut feeling when it comes to bets. ALWAYS!!
My aunt did the pools for years and she was round one day and ask me to pick some numbers and she would do it for me. I was about 12 . Low and behold about 3/4 weeks later I won £936 ! My uncle couldnt believe it and told me all the years the pair of them had done the pools and won fuck all and here comes me and wins! True story . On 'skilled' bets Ive had £2 at 25-1 on Stuart Pearce to score the first goal in the Fa cup final for Notts Forest against Spurs . They got a free kick and he did the business. Shame they lost though! On an Arsenal bet I had David Hillier at 50-1 to score once only £2 so I got £100 and he didnt get many! I used to like them big odd bets they were good if they ever came off.

last sept/oct i done a 7 match accum on the euro qualifers had 20euro,, all came in and i won 840euro.. any time i bet on arsenal i lose so gave up on that long time ago,, every year id put a tenner on arsenal 2 win the league and same on fa cup,, stopped in 1998 and ye know the rest,, so i said rite,, arsenal only win if i dont back them, and havent since

Me too!! If I bet on them to win something they lose! So I don't do it anymore.
UNLESS I'm in the stadium and then the jinx magically lifts!!!
Had a nice fourfold accumulator which returned £150 to a £10 stake last season, but my favourite was a win double on AC Milan beating the plastic Mancs and Barca beating Chav$ki a couple of years back.
I don't bet on Arsenal but my succesful betting story is at the beggining of the 04/05 i said liverpool would win the champions league at half time i still believed they would do it im not sure why i just had a feeling about it i remember when arsenal went out agaist B.Munich i watched liverpool in the champions league i was the sure they would win and i was right
Bulgaria to beat West Germany 1994 world cup. Bulgaria came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Won £500 I think. Couldn't stand the last 10 minutes after Bulgaria had gone 3-2 up so had to go out and drive aimlessly around with the radio on!

Lee Dixon was usually about 800000/1 for the first goal but the week before he had taken his first pen and scored. His odds were slashed to 25/1 but I still thought that was value ao I had a fivers worth and.....

I bet on Liverpool to beat Chavski 2-1.
I got 13-1 and put twenty on it.
I also bet half time full time for arsenal vs ajax (online betting where you choose wo will be winning in each half) I had draw half time arsenal full time, at 8-1 and put £35 on it.
Don't normaly bet on the gunners though as I feel I might jinx them.
I tend to bet on manure and chelski to win as either way i am a winner!!!
So I don't do it anymore.
