I disagree..."Where the North Bank / Clock End" became the most popular song in the last few years at Highbury and hearing it now is nice - especially when it means reminding ourselves of our roots at Highbury.

Lets face it - your not going to get what is now the south stand singing back at the north stand...because the south stand now is the family enclousure. The north stand now is made up mostly of North Bank and Clockend season ticket holders.

Was brilliant in one of the FA Cup matches last season when the Clockend came into the North Bank (yes there was petty animosity between the two lol) and you would see half the stand standup and sing "We're the North Bank Highbury" then they would sit down and the other half stand up and sing "We're the Clockend Highbury" all in the same part of the ground.

Recreating that week in week out at the Emirates would be funny and inject some unique atmosphere in the ground. (What other clubs do you see where random fans in the same part of the ground stand up and sing a song, then they sit down and another lot standup and sing a song).

I agree with both but why can't we do both, singing we're the clock end highbury in the north bank won't get round the whole stadium but singing the clock end ashburton will, wouldn't it be great to hear 1500 gooners singing that to each other.

Ashley Cole is not gay and this ditty is just not funny. The ten men chant is funny witty and about a silly incident which got into the papers. Ashley is a poor deluded soul who doesn't know quite how lucky he was. Either that or is he just gready.

Calm down dicko, i think if people are that offended about certain chants and songs then they have to take a look at themselves and ask if football and all that comes with it is the best place to be. I know people will say that they should be able to go where they please, but there's certain places where certain people don't belong and that's the way it's always been and always will be. At the end of the day it's somewhere i feel i can come to and be myself without having to worry if i 'might' happen to offend someone. Already this season more and more of these crazy PC ideas are creeping in to football. I know, let's let supporters in as long as they sit down for a whole match, don't fly any flags, don't chant anything as it 'might' offend someone, no taunting away fans as it could upset them, if we win don't talk about the game in case an opposing fan is in earshot...........................................WHERE DOES IT END!!.

Dicko i dont understand whre ur coming from here. How is 10 man went to bed song ok but this one not. i dont know how many arsenal games uve been to or seen but if you did watch the arsenal spurs carling cup game last week u would have heard the spurs fans singing about arsene wenger. none of this is proven but they will still sing it.

i agree completel with gonnermc lets not get even more PC ideas into football otherwise we might as well not bother at all.

To sing what the manc and the spuds do towards "Sir" Arsene, you quote with "no proof", you raised a damn good point.
That sad lot down the road still claim to be a "BIG" club but in all my 34 years of being on this planet i still have not found one shred of evidence to prove it.

I was not stating that I was offended. I merely think that the song suggested is a waste of chanting time. We already have the 10 men one which is funny as I said. Although now the time has really passed he has gone the Bridge match is long gone and we should be concentrating on the team that we have now.

Mr Wenger is NOT a man that needs to be locked up and kept away from little boys and yes I was right to the side of the spuds idiots that were singing that last Wednesday.

I have been going to matches for 17 years and remember a certain "one spotty virgin" being sung of Ryan Giggs as banter.

I don't wish to be so pro-PC.

I'm a season-ticket holder, but as this takes the majority of my money i can't afford to go away, so as far as i'm concerned i haven't been able to have my say about 'BATTY BOY' cole. I believe we are Supporter with a IQ above the IQ of a average spud! lets stop the theoooooooo theeeeeeeeeoooo chants and adopt a new chant like the previous one suggested in this post
