Atmosphere today

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Watching from my armchair    The atmosphere certainly came across from the tv. I saw a few familiar faces celebrating after the second Nasri goal, sorry didn't see you though smoothie but then again my screen is only 40 inches

Can't say I agree, SWL.

The accoustics in the stadium aren't the best, and it's sometimes difficult to gauge the atmosphere in other parts of the ground.

All I can say, is that the North lower was awesome! 8)

I think that the acoutics aren't great, and it might be where I sit, but we were quiet for quite a while between goals. Myself, I was too nervous to sing from when they scored...

I thought it was the best atmosphere for quite some time. Admittedly that is not saying very much. But compared with what we usually get, I thought it was pretty good.

My lad and I were at the back of 26 and only sat down for about 10 mins the whole game. Fantastic atmosphere. I think it also helps if you are right under thr tier cos it really amplifies the sound whereas if you are out in the open it seems to disappear.

i think he means he was under the tier, as opposed to being in front of it and getting rained on
