i honestly think the carling cup team would do better against villa then the 1st team...

The truth is, we have now become a decent average side with no actual great players. Note that i said 'great' and not good.

Anyone who thinks different should compare our line up now to that of the 49ers.

WTF - How can we turn over United then lose to dross like Villa.

Why do we bother, all that effort last week to be undone by fucking longball merchants like Villa. No fucking leadership, no heart and no fucking goalkeeper (Almunia at his near post AGAIN!).

villa were the better side all game - curtis davies, hes a player we could use, committed, good in the air, good on the ball - worth spending 10-15 mill on IMHO.

Bendtner is awful , thought he was poor vs united and couldent make any impact today. Simply not enough pace, especially to be playing up front on his own

why was our midfield so innefectual when they looked so good against united

You obviously ddidn't see the game, they are long ball merchants and were dross today. We were well beaten by an average side.

they played pretty well in the 1st half then reverted to long ball - and guess what, we cant fucking deal with long balls or anything in the air and it WORKED for them.
We on the other hand carried on pottling around with the ball, playing 20 passes to allow villa to get back into the box before delivering balls in that were easily picked off

yes, we were wel beaten by an average side - i agree. but we are also an average side so it's not exactly a shock that we were well beaten by an average side is it?
