As peverse as it isounds, perhaps results like this (and the others that are yet to comethis season) are what are needed to highlight the areas we're lacking in.

The United result last week papered over the cracks, had they had their shooting boots on it would have been a thorough thrashing but we got away with it. Business as usual today though and we looked so ordinary.

We've had it good for a 10 years, would be interesting to see what would happen if we had a few more losses to other cloggers....

I reckon Cesc is already got one finger on his mobile ready to instruct his agent. We're going backwards and Cesc will be too if he hangs on.....

Well maybe Cesc needs to concentrate on playing because he's been shit this season and was pathetic today!

Wenger chooses to play 4-5-1 again with Bendtner (who can't hold the ball up) the man up front. We keep hitting it long and surprise surprise their two 6ft 3+ win every ball.
Maybe the guys were tired after playing.....a week ago??

Not good enough Wenger - you say they are, well you know what? You're wrong plain and simple. Swallow your pride and sign some fucking quality players in January.

i must say that cesc has be absolutely shit so far his passing is dire and he is getting very fond of passing the ball backwards letting the defence get back into shape not good enough

Most people on here (even optimists like me!) said at the start of the season we needed a centre back and a defensive midfielder otherwise we would notwin the League.

It is being proved.

Just got in. Fuc*king pissed off. Agree with most of what has been said so far. I was sat behind the south goal and yo could almost smell the fear in the back 4 whwnever they sent one over the top. Our midfield was useless. Denilson is not evn average and Cesc is not th player he was. We may not have to worry about him leaving as either no one will want him or we wont. I would not be upset if Bendtner never pulled on the red and white again. I doubt if he needed a shower after the game.

Why are we useless at set pieces including corners and always look like we are going to concede from them?

Finally Arsene must take his head out of his arse and buy a GK, CB and holding midfielder in January cos at the moment we will be lucky to be top 4 in may.

This is not the end of the world. Man Utd lost five games last season and still finished top (grrrr).

Villa will go to Man U and Chavski and will be
lucky to get more than 3 attempts on target!
That about sums it up to me,if you're a team
on a poor run of form, like Villa were coming into
this match, then the best team to play to get
yourslves out of it then its us!!!

Assists:
Cesc Fábregas 23
Alexander Hleb 11
Gaël Clichy 6
Eduardo 6
Bacary Sagna 6
Robin Van Persie 5
Theo Walcott 4
Emmanuel Adebayor 4

This season?

Assists:
Emmanuel Adebayor 5
Robin Van Persie 4
Cesc Fábregas 4
Denilson 3
Nicklas Bendtner 3
Aaron Ramsey 3

Coupled with the fact Cesc can't run and can't score atm, what use is he? Fuck knows what has happened to him
