Where's I HATE HLEB gone??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Many thanks to DB10 and everyone else for showing concern as to my whereabouts.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get to the computer for a few days due to my parents' ill health. The only reason I'm on now (at nearly 4am!!) is because this evening a close friend who sometimes frequents the forum told me about this thread so I thought I should come on here with an explaination.

I haven't been able to post as much because, as some of you know, I look after my elderly parents, and over the past few months - and especially recent weeks - their health has deteriorated. Both of them have required lots of extra attention after spending prolonged periods in hospital recently with serious illnessess.

Fortunately, my mother - although still very unwell - is showing signs of improvement and is slightly better. Alas and very sadly, I lost my father on Saturday morning.

As you can appreciate, I will be very busy for the next few days/weeks dealing with family matters so won't be able to post much, if at all. I will try and browse occassionally if at all possible, and when circumstances allow.

Thank you once again for the compliments and for pretending that you're 'missing me'. However, may I suggest you guys get the dosage of medication you're so obviously taking increased immediately!! (Especially Gus - I never knew you cared!!)

Seriously though guys, thanks a lot to all of you that enquired about me. Knowing that there are people out there that care enough to do that has brought a little joy to an otherwise sad heart at this time and is much appreciated.

Had no idea any of this was going on, and have only just now looked at this thread. I'm really sorry for your loss, Hlebmeister. Glad to hear your mum is doing better though.
