THEO APPLAUDES FANS WHO STAY TILL THE END

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

which is amazing considering everyone wants him out of the team. He may not be world class but he played his heart out yesterday unlike Cesc

Yeah he stayed on well beyond everyone else and made a point of clapping everyone, although he didn't come down our end.

The atmosphere was poor yesterday but there was a nervousness right from the beginning and when it became clear Villa were outplaying us everyone was on tenterhooks. Our crowd are not good at lifting the team. We need the team to lift us.

He misses the Citeh game anyway as he's suspended - it will be interesting to see what performance we get without him.

Good lad, shows some care to the fans, unlike the majority of footballers today.

Agreed... Theo carries himslef very well, and seems to appreciate the fans, just like Dixon used to. Small gestures go a long way! 8)

Theo threw his shirt into the away end at Blackburn.. I took my nephew along, and he was gutted he didn't catch Theo's shirt.

Reminds me... I was on the tube after the Sp*rs game, and a spud had a muddy Sp*rs shirt with Bentley on the back.. he was a large bloke, and the shirt was tiny on him, but he was well chuffed, as he said he;d caught it when Bentley threw it into the away end.

I wanted to spit on it... but I didn't, obviously.
