there was a french guy on the radio talksport he came on I think he was an agent - he said that

gallas has resigned the capataincy NOT that WENGER took it off him and that Clichy is captain v man City

it was mentioned once and that was that

he said very early evening what i told you guys

next fucking time i wont bother

someone else must hav heard it too

it was very convicing and I believed it

was also listening, the same bloke broke the news about the stripping of gallas's captaincy

the club are refusing to discuss it

we have all these injuries suspensions and we dont take gallas to this very hard game

they have jo, robinho, irland from deep, benjarmi

this wont be an easy game

i didnt hear the news broken, but when drving home from work (5.10pm), listening to talksport they were saying talksport understands that gallas has been striped of the captaincy, there source was phillip o clair the well known french journalist. but any news on clichy being captain at that time was not mentioned. it seems know though there was a team meeting to discuss who was the new captain, and maybe now its been leaked? what radio station and what time did you hear the news calo?

No. But when you lose your captain on the day before a game you still have to have a captain for that game. Possibly he has given Clichy the nod for tomorrow with a view to electing or selecting a permanent new captain during the week when every body in the squad has calmed down.

yes I heard that too

this was later afterwards

it was an update - not a journalist - i heard agent!!!

he was speaking very sharp- staright to the point was on for only 5 mins at the most - he also sound pissed off for some reason

seemed he was trying to emphasis that gallas resigned the position

I mean wtf is that all about ? Is it like voting for the x factor or I'm a celeb type of bullshit ? I know our last 2 captains have been piss poor but surely we are not going down the popularity road are we ? May as well just put all the names into a hat
