MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

official website 'just' has toure, walcott and ebuoe unavailable to play on the right
(+ some player called rosicky.... rings a bell)
so presumably sagna is fit

luckily for us they seem to not be playing elano

Yeah but Robinho plays on the left (albeit in something of a free role). If Sagna is somehow back that would be a big plus but either way whoever is playing RM is gonna have to track back & do their defensive duties. And whoever plays right-sided CB is gonna have to make sure there's not the usual massive gap between them and RB or else Robinho's gonna cut in and cut us to shreds.

Still going for an Arsenal win though. I never learn.

worse case scenario
injured rightsided options - sagna, ebuoue, toure, walcott

djourou has not impressed me at RB
I'd rather see him in the middle and BillyG wide
ramsey in front of him?

wenger will obv want to bring back RVP
diaby was poor v villa and is the obvious casualty
my guess is

almunia
gallas djourou silvestre clichy
ramsey denilson song nasri
adbeyor rvp

more I think about it the worse the timing of this is
almunia is the natural choise for captain 2moro
but realistically IMO we need a better keeper

I always find it interesting to look at the record of results from matches of importance to me on any given weekend...and sometimes find strange ways of convincing myself that they mean something.

So far tonight I've had:

Adelaide United 2 - Sydney FC 0 :banghead:

And a massive upset in the rugby league with New Zealand beating Australia 34 - 20.

Still to come are Ireland v Argentina and of course....us v City.

Sorry that was a boring post for...well...for everyone. But I am bored, and waiting for the match to start.

Got a really bad feeling about this but strangely not as bad as I felt on my way to the Emirates last week. Be happy with a draw.

Clichy
Nasri
Denilson
Song
Diaby

So the Hoyte rumours are true.

Where's Adebayor?

He's not injured is he? Dropped? Is he the 25 yr old WIlly was talking about?
