MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

what else can he say other than we were not good enough - if wenger tries to find excuses for today's loss he will just make himself look like a fool.

same old wenger now im very f*cking angry, this is what he said according to bbc.co.uk

""It's a flattering result for Manchester City. The attitude was right because we fought very hard. We lacked a bit of maturity to dominate the game. I don't think Man City created a lot. I think we were quite in control of the game. We have no big issues - just the fact we didn't win the game. We have a good attitude, a good spirit. We'll turn it around."

LOadsa a f*cking b*llshit

The official site is even suggesting we weren't all "peachy" like they usually do! We've got to have been shit if they're not making it sound all sugar-coated!

Nobody expects that but it is reasonable to expect him to say that the players are underperforming and that they need to improve to keep their place.

That's right lets all hound him out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes he has got a blind spot right now with not buying experienced players, but lynching him like this is utter bollox. As a club we cannot do anything till January, and continually moaning that the squad isn't good enough and repeating it over and over again!! GET USED TO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For 6 weeks we have to get behind the team more than ever till that transfer window opens then lets see what happens. With all that our lifetimes have lived through with this club, this period at the mo seems like a regular football season to many teams, but we seem to have an ingrained belief that its our god given right to beat everyone. Believe you will,Yes but it is earned.
Supporters reflect the team, the going gets tough and thousands bolt for the exits during home games!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just have a think about it!

It's something like the ball is deemed to be in the gk's hands while he is throwing it up to kick it out.

Worthinggooner is spot on. Wenger has got it wrong, we (and hopefully he) all know that but we just have to get behind him and the team through this period. The type of support through that last 20 mins has to somehow be transported to the Emirates. CL group game nights are often like morgues so this Tuesday's atmosphere is gonna be interesting to say the least. However getting 50000 to sing We love you Arsenal constantly.........
