I have read with interest the debate on the boo or not to boo players, i will start by saying i have never booed a player and never will, in this instance i can see why other people have, in all my time watching Arsenal (my first game was in 1963, so i have seen a lot of players) i have never disliked a player as much as i do Eboue, he is a blatant cheat who is an constant embarrassment to our shirt, yes other players have dived in the past but not with the frequency he has done, he cares nothing about the team, if he did he would not do some of the stupid things he does that could get himself sent off, how many times have we seen him flick a kick at another player, how many times has he raised his arms at another player then fell to the floor holding his face, on the pitch he is a horrible person and i cant believe hand on heart that anybody could defend him if he played for somebody else he would face a barrage of abuse at our place, as a player at right back he is a half decent replacement but as a midfielder he is not up to it, before people start screaming look at the goals we have scored from his crosses, 3 goals in 2 seasons have come from his crosses, well as a winger where he has played most of the time that's not exactly prolific is it, compare that to the times he has kicked it straight out or into a defender, so it was no suprise when the crowd turned on him when he started making mistakes, he is not Arsenal class but remember
IT IS WENGER THAT KEEPS PICKING HIM, WHY IS MORE OF THE STICK NOT GOING HIS WAY , WHY BRING HIM ON ABOVE VELA OR RAMSEY WE WERE AT HOME TO WIGAN FFS

I agree entirely but I think when people boo they ARE directing their frustrations at Wenger as well as Eboue. As you say, it's Wenger that keeps picking him. How else are fans supposed to show that we're fed up with his weird affection for such a useless player, particularly when we have far better talent at the club. I didn't boo on Saturday but I would certainly think about it if Eboue is picked again (and I've never booed an Arsenal player before in forty years of supporting them).

I have lost count of the amount of poor performances this season.Every defeat has been deserved no hard luck stories or blame the ref.Add to that the Sunderland and Kiev games when injury time goals saved us from further defeats.6OONER PETE wrote:Just watched the Porto match (well I stopped watching after 70 mins). F**cking hell! Who do you boo out of that lot!!!!!
We've had some poor performances this season but that was just appalling!
