Wenger Scarifices top spot for his arrogance yet again !!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i was really urging us to win the group

play second leg at home regardless of whom you play

could have been an advantage

we need all the help we can get

why not win the group now the play ALL kids in the last game

i dont understand im confused with his thinking

I agree, I think he should play the full Carling Cup team or not bother at all. Augmented sides like that have no understanding or cohesion and ends with results like this.

saturday isnt going to go very well, it will be the same attitude we took to stoke and man city and we'll get done over by a hard-working unit

absolutely piss poor. Most of them couldn't pass the ball 20 yards.
It goes to prove that the majority of 'fringe' players at Arsenal are very poor. Dogshit Diaby is the biggest ball hog I have ever seen. Useless.

Don't think you can blame wenger for resting players. Most are either injured or fatigued. If you presume our outfield 1st team is clichy (hamstring) toure (calf) sagna (flu) theo (shoulder) cesc (knee) Nasri (knee) Rvp (leg) and Adebayor (rested) then what choice did he have??? Of course Arsene wouldve wanted to win 2nite but at what risk?? Those that think sat will be easy are deluded, look at our last few results there. Its an early kick of, away from home, in the freezing cold - all conditions we've struggled to deal with ever since we first entered the champions league including title winning seasons. Personally i'm glad he didnt risk the first team in the hope we topped the group when we still could've drawn the likes of inter, real etc.

song can tackle yes and he is very good at it

BUT

hes too slow

he cant keep up

they leave him standing

denilson had to cover him

denilson was supposed to help start attacks

spent his time defending instaead

guys look at it this way he is keeping us fresh for the prem at weekend. first or second in the champions league group stage means nothing these days. playing your home legs last is just a big disadvantage also remember last year
