As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i agree definitely an improvement on the last game - you can see we are very low on confidence though
Low on ability, low on passion, low on commitment and low on fcuking courage but other than that we are sorted
This team/squad is piss poor and poor old cesc is going to have some tough decisions ahead of him - play alongside xavi, messii and ineista or play alongside song (useless no good for nothing *word censored* ), diaby (hasnt enough brains to fill a fcuking smartie ) and denilson who may in time be an ok centre midfielder but is hopless as a winger
Round about the 85th minute when Wenger stood there flapping his arms I think I really did move into the 'Not sure about Wenger carrying on much longer' camp.
How can an intelligent man stand on the sidelines and really honestly believe that this team is good enough? As loads of others have already said, what kind of an influence on the game did Diaby, Song and Denilson have? They're young but Wilshere, Ramsey and Vela can open up defences. I'm seriously worried. Knowing us we will win next week and of course yet again that'll give more ammunition to the Wenger belief that these players are good enough.
REALLY REALLY REALLY FUCKED OFF BIG TIME
We're a shadow of the side that played in the CL final that was less than 3 years ago. We had world class in several positions but can we say that about the current team. Only Cesc could be considered world class today - and this seaon it would be pushing it to suggest he is in that class.
It's been happening slowly but only now has it become apparent, we're watching Arsenal slowly erode into an average team of players not up to the job.
Can I also, on behalf of the realists on this form, welcome chippy and eboue-why into the "wenger has lost it" party - it is not a joyous party (in fact the atmosphere is quite sombre, but we are soon moving to a bigger premises as a result of increasing numbers looking to join us
We were crying out for a bit of width today, too many times Diaby drifted infield leaving Clichy on the wing two on one forcing him to cross it into the box where there was nobody. by the end of the game adebayor was playing on the left when we needed him in the box
Tinpot, we're not in crisis but even you must see that some of the players out there are just not good enough. Nothing to do with confidence, simple just not fucking good enough. And if the manager cannot see that then there are problems, deep problems that a win next week will not mend.
Middlesbrough away is the type of games that a top-4 team should be winning. I really hope Villa run out of steam in the spring cos at the moment, I'm pretty worried.

What was the point of this post. I am becoming more and more convinced you are a spud who is very subtly winding us up. Good job, now go away and play on the rail tracks.

i agree completely but the overeaction is unbelievable.
this our worse spell under wenger and people are calling for his head, give the man a fucking chance

You dont think losing to the likes of fulham, hull and stoke while being only able to gain draws with the likes of sunderland and middlesboro qualifies as a crisis for a club of our size with the lofty ambitions we are meant to have ? In my opinion when you have a run of results like that then it certainly is classed as a crisis unless you support some mickey mouse scum club from the shite hart lane area where it would be classed as a regular season
tinpot lane wrote:Arsenal in crisis, never read so much shit
agreed... it's frustrating, but there's no crisis.
Our midfield really is poor at the moment. It isn't supporting the forwards nor providing them with chances.. and, our midfield isn't giving adequate protection to the defence either. It's as average a midfield as I can remember, and in some ways, I feel sorry for our defence and strikers.
Anyway, calm down tinpot.. for someone who wrote this....

I think it's a little rich to refer to another person's comment as "never read so much shit"

so there was no improvement incomparison to previous games?
