The Return Of Eddy

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

2-0 Gibbs.

Blinding powerful rising left foot shot from about 20 yards out in stoppage time.

I learnt something at the game today:

You aren't a real arsenal fan, unless you sing songs (about other people not being real arsenal fans  )

He was withdrawn at half time as he felt his hamstring tighten.

In post match interview Neil Banfield said it was precautionary, the sort of injury that can just mean three days to two weeks away from training but nothing serious.

To be expected in first full game back on a very cold night.

Brilliant to see Eduardo back in our shirt again. Forget all the legend bullshit but the lad is pure quality, his international goal record alone will back that up.

After that horror tackle let us just be thankfull that the lad is on a pitch at all. He will come good.

Welcome back Dudu9 :barscarf:

Good to see him back!

The real tests are still to come.

Bit worried about the statement "three days to two weeks"!

With us that could mean August!

SAme here m8, that sentence is really familiar and scary

Thats exactly what AW said when SoSicky pulled his hamstring and 11 months later, he is still out.

God forbid that won't happen to Eddie
