LIVERPOOL GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Have to join in here, how can you possibly single out Gael amongst the other dross we had out there today.  I'd rather one Gael than 21 Songs.

I don't know if it came across on the telly but the crowd was incredibly fired up after the sending off. pretty much willed the team to survive.
your dead right chippy, its been said on this thread just how crap we were before the sending off, but well played the arsenal after that and well played the crowd, was good to see some hunger and pride in there aswell

it sounded pretty good, especially the booing of anybody who touched the ball in a grey shirt. i think it had a big part in encouraging urgency even is song who put himself about a bit. i think tinpot summed it up quite well:

Why can't they crowd be as loud as that every game? I love I when I see the East Lower singing as it means they're up for it, and TBH they don't sing that much, only in the big games.

Everyone carry that noise through to the cocky twats villa.

I don't think you need to worry about the away crowd making noise on Friday.

fuck off, neither was a foul and the cheating scouse c**t holding his face like he got a slap,
wanker and a cheat
I thought Arbeloa was spanish? I loved how Van Persie and Adebayor stayed on their feet so well.
Fuck off mate. We had one of your lot in our section today - ejected for jumping up and down when an ex-Scummer equalised. Brainless as usual. Your lot deserve all the hatred they get from the rest of the country.

Your banner might say "We Haven't Forgotten Them". Yeah and the rest of us have not forgotten your bunch of scum who got us all banned from Europe for years. And before you respond with the tried and tested "they were not Liverpool fans" response, go fuck yourself
How did we get from the match today to the Heysel topic? Hmm. I think somebodys bitter...

I personally don't understand all this antipathy. Arsenal and Liverpool have always had a relatively good relationship.
Arsenal conducted themselves with class in 89 at Anfield with the wreaths. And again at Anfield in 98 Liverpool's reception showed class.
Something a lot of the comments I have read here paticularly regarding Hillsbrough are severly lacking.

Tell you what it is Stokey. Some people really hate the fact that Scousers always try and play the role of victim. Hillsborough will be a day nobody will ever forget but then they still persist in trying to ram raid turnstiles on big matchdays and then blame poor stewarding or policing. Not saying that justifies total hatred of them but you can see why some fans of opposing teams have little time for them

Spot on Rebel.

As for Denilson, he was our hardest working and best player today, and Song did quite well too.

Would have loved to see Vela/Wilshere/Ramsey get a late chance to run on the wing.

Considering the fact you lost Eduardo to a similar tackle I was kind of shocked by the fans reaction. Adebayor knows that as-well thats why he didn't argue.

what tackle are you trying to compare with eddies, because if its either of ades then you really do need to get a grip
