Cesc possibly out for 2-3 months

So not only have we lost our best player, we’ve now got to spend whatever money we do have on a replacement for him as well as or instead of on the DM we already desperately needed. And we’ve now got Captain Almunia for the rest of the season! F*ck me 2008 has been one shiTe f*cking year to be a Gooner!

If we were to buy Arshavin that would only increase our need for a top-class ball-winner cos he’s more attacking & more of a luxury than Cesc. Plus he comes across as bit of a diva so imagine what he’ll be like once he gets here & realises he has Diaby to the left of him, Eboue to the right and there he is… stuck in the middle with Song! If we blow £20m on him and leave ourselves with nothing left to buy a DM I’ll have no choice but to morph into augie and/or Rob and put Wenger at the top of my shit-list for 2009!

Merry f*cking Christmas.

Midfield playmaker... Song, Diaby, Denilson... Those 3 cannot link 2 passes together... Jaysus it doesn't bear thinking about... :(

On top of that any clubs we enter into negotiations with will play hard ball such is the obvious desperation that we have in midfield  Then of course wenger will probably turn around and say that the right players were not available at the right prices :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I have already had some scouse supporting buddies texting me to wind me up about cesc's 4 month absence - of course I keep telling them the signing of xabi alonso will ease our loss somewhat and of course they do not want to even consider that possibility

I am one of wenger's critics yes but far from the the biggest one mind you(have you read any of sid's posts ?   ). Anyway my gripe with wenger is that he appears to be doing fcuk all to address our shortcomings but if he brings in quality players but we are still no nearer bringing back success to the club then I will cut him slack

Fair enough augie, cant argue with that. Yours and Rob's were just the 1st names I came up with for some reason. If I ever morph into Sid though all the mods have my permission to ban me & call the asylum!

How about Vieira back on loan until the end of the season and play him alongside Ramsey who can learn from the master?

Whether Arsenal will now buy in January, Wenger said...

"It is more likely but we also have internal solutions and we are not desperate,"

Internal solutions? :? who? Song? Diaby? Ramsey? Coquelin? Toure?... EBOUE?? :speechless:

Not desperate? yes we f*cking are!

Fabregas out for the season!
And who we have in central midfield now:Denilson,Song,Diaby,Ramsey...
Wenger,if you still really know(I´d never think I may doubt it),buy immediately someone good!!!
There is enough money to spend so do it please,it´s a desperate situation already!
I don´t want at the end of the season the same excuses about the young players, lack of depth(which fault is this?),time to improve etc. :banghead:
We haven´t won anything for years now, damn it!
Buy! :x
P:S::Although it´s a hard blow we can deal with it-just stick together and never give up!

baring in mind that he has been poor this season at times. it may be for the better.

1. he gets to get the rest he needs

2. den gets to express himself

3. the shackles come off diarby

all is not lost
