That RAWK Q&A

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm quite aware that you won't and you'll just try to bait me further, but that's the truth on that webpage.
the actions of your fans CAUSED the deaths of untold italians and 96 of your own and that led directly to the new souless bowls we have today. why don't you just accept at least some of the blame you ostrich. and if the scum that follow your club had any respect they would not continue to rush the gates trying to get in.

Why should Liverpool fans have any blame whatsoever?

The OFFICIAL report into the disaster concluded that it came about as a result of police failings.

The officer in charge of the event had never taken charge of a major sporting event before.

Liverpool fans were praised as "exemplary" in the Taylor Report.

How comes I know so much about it? Reading other articles, similar to this one.

Please answer my question - do liverpool fans genuinely think they were completely blameless? OR do you accept that some of the actions of some Liverpool fans made the tragedy worse than it had to be?
they won't answer as they are not to blame. blinkers that is what they wear. it's always someone else's fault. NEVER THEIRS

THE ACTIONS OF THE SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE CAUSED THE DEATHS OF 96 INNOCENT FOOTBALL FANS. Why can't you bitter fucks look past the fact that they were Scousers and see that they were 96 FOOTBALL FANS who were penned into an area that was clearly too small for the amount of people there while there were 2 side sections of the stand that the police did not allow people in to? Or the fact that the police forced fans back in to the crush when they tried to escape?

The Lord Justice Taylor report absolves the liverpool fans of any blame. The blame lies solely with Duckenfield and the South Yorkshire Police whose inability to control a football crowd caused 96 innocent people, some of them children, to lose their lives following the team they loved.

I can't remember the exact wording, but I've read the Taylor report - yes, all of it, and it mentions part of the problem was the British culture of drinking heavily before the game, then rushing to the ground before kick off... he said that had happened at Hillsbrough and such a large number of people did it that it contributed to the disaster.

While the TR laid some blame with the SYP, I'm 99% sure it didn't fully absolve Liverpool fans

This has already been answered a page back. The Official Report did not place any blame on the fans whatsoever. Why can't you get that into your thick skull?

You really are an abhorrent cretin.

As for your comments about Liverpool and Everton discriminating against black players, frankly I'm embarrassed for you.

No, because the lord Justice Taylor Report makes the point that this was not at all a factor in the tragedy. there was plenty of space in that stand for all of the Liverpool fans, but the police tried to pen them all into the middle section. because of their incompetency, 96 people died. You should be fucking ashamed of yourself trying to use the disaster to score points on us. You're probably twice my age as well, get a grip.
