That RAWK Q&A

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How comes I know so much about it? Reading other articles, similar to this one.

Please answer my question - do liverpool fans genuinely think they were completely blameless? OR do you accept that some of the actions of some Liverpool fans made the tragedy worse than it had to be?
The Lord Justice Taylor report absolves the liverpool fans of any blame. The blame lies solely with Duckenfield and the South Yorkshire Police whose inability to control a football crowd caused 96 innocent people, some of them children, to lose their lives following the team they loved.

do you not accept that fans wothout tickets who tried and succeded in gaining entry were a factor in the tradegy?
This has already been answered a page back. The Official Report did not place any blame on the fans whatsoever. Why can't you get that into your thick skull?

You really are an abhorrent cretin.

charming

As for your comments about Liverpool and Everton discriminating against black players, frankly I'm embarrassed for you.

where is the evidence to the contary? the policy at both clubs has been a disgrace. just how many players have come through the ranks?

do'nt be embarrassed for me be embarrassed for your clubs and city. least us not foret unlce bob paisley who said "i do'nt trust them" says it all really

Why does it mater what colour players are? If they're good enough they'll get through, there are a number of very good young black players at our club right now. And I seem to remember a certin Damien Plessis playing very very well against youse last season.

I really don't understand what you are trying to say. We have had two scousers brought through the ranks in the last few years that have been successful.

We haven't had any black scousers through because, shock horror, there just aren't that many black scousers in the city, when you compare it to population figures.

We have brought several foreign black players to the club. Presumably you noticed Babel and El Zhar come on on Sunday? That is if you managed to remove your head from your arse.

I can't believe I am even arguing this point with you, it's ridiculous.

Everything you have said in this thread has been an embarrassment to your fellow supporters.

jamesone23, Carra or any Liverpool fan,

I think we can all agree that the events at Hillsborough was a very sad day for all football fans, and it's a subject I don't feel a need to contribute to here today...

However, Just out of interest, where to most Liverpool fans stand on the possibility of the re-introduction of safe standing areas like those in the German Bundesliga?

and do you know whether the majority of families of the Hillsborough victims would support this, or be totally against it?

ahh there you go you've just made my argument over the years is it just Howard Gayle who managed to squeeze through (and went through hell as i have previously posted) and the above player you mentioned.

when you post what has colour got to do with you show how discriminatory the policy over the years has been. the fact that when it comes to black players the clubs of liverpool have a very poor and sorry record. just do'nt tell me to be embarrassed when the facts show YOU and your club should be ashamed.

I can't speak for all Liverpool fans but I personally would welcome the safe standing areas at Anfield, I believe that standing at the match would give a major boost to the often-flat atmosphere at Anfield and other big team's grounds nowadays.

I am starting to doubt your sanity.

Those two players were just an example. We have had several other black players in the first team in recent years: Sissoko, Plessis, Traore, Diou, Diouf. I could go on.

I think we have already established that you don't know anything about Liverpool as a city, that's why you continue to spout such bollocks .

It might interest you to know that I was brought up in London, and now live in Liverpool.

And I know which city I prefer.

What a fucking ridiculous argument that is. There haven't been many fucking white Scousers come through from the ranks in the past few years either, have you noticed?
