Yes thats right lets blame Denilson instead cause he only put in a brilliant performance when it was sorely lacking from the players around him. If you really wanna be technical its Gallas who loses Knight and runs away from the situation. fact is other than Denilson and Sagna no one had a particularly stand up game even Diaby who apart from his goal did not perform well at all. It was an unfortunate game but a part of me finds it hard to be furious with the result cause Villa ran us off the aprk apart from 10 mins in the 2nd halfn7gooner wrote:Thats right blame Eboue rather than Denilson who let Knight go. Are you kidding Denilson scored a lucky goal and if you watch the second goal again you will see Knight go past Denilson and stand at the edge of the box. As the commentator said why was there three arsenal defenders aginst four Villa players, and am I correct in saying that denilson was playing the holding role out of the three CM which means that he should have been marking Knight not ambling back from a throw.

Denilson and Song were terrible. Their passing is quite frankly amazingly bad for supposedly AW type players.
Eboue worked hard and did well for Diaby's goal but that is not enough for a player to hold down a first team spot at Arsenal - he needs to work hard every game, he needs to get regular assists, he needs to score at least a couple of league goals a season. He does none of that. The lad is not good enough.
And, worse, he still dives and overacts...

Strangely, me too...gus ceasar is a legend wrote:You know what, I don't even get mad at Eboue these days!
The guy just isn't worth my time!

I kind of just look blankly at him now and wait for the first dive...

Getting that way with Song and Denilson too... "oh, we've kicked off. Er, why did Song pass that ball straight into touch? Oh well..."
