this craic about not having money to spend is bull. plenty of top teams are knee deep in death and still spend the cash. whats the point of not spending any money and not winning anything
the board continue to make their money, whilst keeping the club going. why woudl they take a gamble that could eventually lead to the downfall fo the club in the search of trophies ( a la leeds united) when the clubs performing at a decent rate and still making money?

it dont take a genius to work that out mate....

so you expect us to move to a 800m+ satdium and be able to pay off the debt immediately? its gonna take time to be able to make a profit off the stadium. and as a result wengers hands are more or less tied.

i can admit that some of wengers tactics are questionable and at times fucking daft, but to blame the guy for everythign is out of order, the board is more to blame for coming out in the media and chatting a load of bollocks.

If you think the move to the Emirates cost £800 million you are even more deluded than Wenger. And that's going some !

Gus, we all feel your anger matey. But I can't agree that he has to go now. Cockerill's Chin just about summed it up perfectly I reckon. A team that punched above its weight last season and Wenger, whether due to cash problems or complacency decided that it could do it all again, even though he sold more than he bought.
I said on the match thread that for the first time I was embarrased with a hint of real dislike for the man when listening to his interview. In recent weeks I've even phoned 5live and Talksport to make the point about being told 3 years ago that 'we have to move to the Emirates to compete' but seeing little return on my £925 per season.
He still has qualities to turn it around if he acknowledges that he has to change his strategy and admit his mistakes. Augie said recently that I'd gone completely to the dark side! Definitely not in the Wenger Out Now camp but I'm sick of feeling like I'm having the piss taken out of me over the finances.
At the very least he needs to TRY and sign in January even though top talent isn't normally readily available.
Invincibles/doubles etc are all history now. He has to convince us that he's the still the man to turn this average side back into genuine title contenders

january will be very interesting if there is not at least 2 january signings - i think he will be fucked come May

the team clearly isn't good enough and it doesn't matter how many people defend the fucker - no cups and 5th or 6th in the league isn't good enough for Arsena

we have gone from a top 2 side with Man Utd, to a top 4 side with Manu, Chelsea, Liverpool and now we are becoming a top 5 side with Aston Villa soon it will be a top 7 side with Everton & Man City

anyone see the pattern - we are on the decline whilst, Villa, Everton and City will be on the way up

Why is it that after the head man at our club (Fiszman) stood in front of Sky Sports cameras a few weeks back and said "We have money, Arsene could spend £30m on one player if he wanted, it is HIS choice not to"...........why can't some Arsenal fans understand plain english? The number of times I have read comments from muppets on here saying 'Have we really got money to spend'? Jesus fu**ing christ are you stupid???? The board have clearly said, in the most public way, that there is significant funds to spend and that Wneger DOESN'T want to spend it. Comprendi?? Do you understand??
This is one mans destruction of a once great club. If Wenger doesn't buy decent players in January he should be sacked, no more feckin' bullshit. This Arsenal team is piss poor and a million miles away from winning a major trophy. It's a disgrace that Wenger is allowed to destroy us after doing so much good work up to 2004. Ridiculous.

I dont wanna be rude man cause i appreciate opinion and that is what this site is for but can we just once spare the whole go support chelsea bullshit when someone doesnt have the same opinion as someone else. I dont want wenger out but i can see why people are frustrated with him. whats pathetic is If in 4 years time we're still the same with no silverware in nearly 8 yrs and wenger is still here people will still slander others for criticising wenger. Everyone pays their money to support such a great club so cut them a little slack if they choose to voice their opinion differently.

Very true and you can add Spurs to that list if Redknapp sticks around. We are currently the #2 side in London in terms of league position. I would prefer us not to become #3 before action is taken to correct the slide.

And 'Cesc is God', within reason people are entitled to their views but if all you can do is post something as thick and innane as that, you haven't lost the argument - you've no argument to put in the first place !
