I'll never forget when I met...

Gilberto. It when I was coming back from the 2004 Amsterdam Tournament, I was walking down to the Departure Lounge and I saw a man on his own sitting in an empty room. I recognised him so I went in for a closer look and it was GILBERTO!

He was getting a private plane back to London because he spent more time in Holland to see some friends. I got a photo and an autograph! :D

I've also met the whole of this seasons squad as I went out to Austria where it is pretty much deserted and easy to talk to the players!

Meeting footballers never rally had a big impact on me as have known quite a few over the years and you get to realise apart from a few million here and there they are the same as you and me.

All apart from meeting TA6...

The man is just an icon a legend and a monster!

Total respect!

No I am just lucky enough to have played serious football and so did my Uncle and Brother.

Also used to drink in a pub that was a bolthole for a few plyers etc so became the norm!

QPR, Brighton, Oldham, Chelsea, Man City and Pompey fans I could tell you a few stories believe me!

Ok prepare for a long story lol
Met my frist player & it was the one that goes down in my heart, Mr Ian Wright at Heathrow airport, my Mum shouted his name so loud but didn't see that he was on the phone at the time & he droped it & it went all over the floor
My Mum feeling scared about ti but he was fine about it & we asked if i could have a photo with the man i speak off every day since i was watching football
Bergkamp i met once in the Clock end car park on the night of Lee Dixons testimonal after i came out of training when i use to play football & trying to get a autograph on any paper that my mum found he was unable to sign for me hurting me with the word 'i am late' in which i was completey gutted about & my Mum wrote into the Arsenal moaning about & they sent me a photocall picture signed by him in which i hope to find one day, all is forgiven Dennis 8) , funny enough he scored that night when i went up there again later on
My family know Charlie George very well & he even saw my Mum & pulled her over for a chat & once when i was little i spent the day with him :D, he signed a picture of the 1971 double team in a old history book from 1995 i had & he told me who was who etc etc, met him again at the stadium to get the history DVD signed also by Bob Wilson, Paul Davis, Sammy Nelson, Terry Neil (his smelt of drink:lol:) & Kenny Sansom
Also met CC in borders for his book signing & got into the local paper for it & also at Chritmas time in the Arsenal shop :D, i want to go on a tour one day & my Mum asks now & again about the legend tours but i've met all of them expect for Radford but one day
Met Bob Wilson at his book signing & i had a long chart with him & was asking about Arsenal & saying to me that it was the first time he saw the blue away top (i think it was that one i wore), i couldn't of met a nicer man & my Mum laughed when he asked where i got the hardback book from (since it was paperback he was signing) & she got it for me in the charity shop in which he laughed about, my mum cried when she read the book about his daughter & i did get a brillant photo with him on my old phone but now that broke years ago & i need a updated one so i soon to hope he'll do one again
Met Kenny Sansom again last season in the all arsenal shop & i was sadly the only one there lol but maybe it had some people later on  , got a programme from the home match after we won the littlewoods cup with him on the front lifting it, he also asked me if i wanted a photo signed in which i got & that was it with me telling him to have good evening
Perry Groves met twice last season getting his book signed in which he told me with me ginger hair that i should be his son  & then again getting the photo of me & him (& me sis) signed in the Arsenal shop & he even said i remember you
Met Lauren, Fabregas, Beast, Gilberto & Djourou
Lauren was moody in my view & was glad to see him leave a couple of weeks later in a way as i've also liked Eboue since the Wolves match
Cesc was ok but was talking to Ralph in spanish at the same time which spoilt it abit
Gilberto & Beast i loved as i thought they were both very kind & signing away for people for ages but still smileing away (but then again i was eariler  ) i thanked Gilberto for playing so good in the Chelsea match the night before & i welcomed Beast (in a way), he signed my Madrid top that my Dad got for me from there when we done them 8) , forced my Mum & sis to come along to get me some extra autographs from them unlike before, also from him got the Boro programme signed & like Gilberto & the rrest of them first team photos done, he even gave me extra
Johan was shy & my mate afterwards said that he took his hand off
& finaly for now the players at the Barnet game shook hands with me as i never knew they were able to sign autogrpahs for people (pitty  , one day) but wished the best of luck to everyone, the players i met were Pat Rice, Wenger, Kolo, Traore, Clichy, Eduardo, Walcott, Alummia (Blondie), Van Persie & Denilson (Adeboyer was well mody)
Thanks for reading

David Dein and THE man himself.......... met DD the nite TiTi broke Wrighty's record in Prague an absolute gent who ended his phone call and got back off the team bus, shared some genuine conversation with us and posed for photos :P
Met AW twice  at Highbury the Last Salute when we played Wigan and he actually came over and shook my hand again when he realised I wanted to video it on my mobile, needless to say I still have the footage to this day, as he is the one person above all others I wanted to meet anyway and the only thing that would better that would be to actually get an hour to sit and talk with him 8)

last season, after a home game - dont remember whihc one but i remember chelsea were laying chelsea in the evening kick off..... as im part of the midands supporters group, was waiting for a bloke who had won the half time comp and thus cos a free photo and meeting with some players. we were all pretty pissed off at waiting but suddenly a few players arrived out of the ground in their cars. Adebayor didnt want to know but then we saw old bergkamp driving out. We rushed to his car, i didnt anythig to sing so got him to autograph my arsenal away top - got well far too speechless and nearly came, and then got a few more players to sign my shirt at the gala dinner - happy days!!
