YES, IDEALLY GILBERTO OR KOLO WOULD HAVE GOT THE JOB DUE TO THE SERVICE THEY HAVE GIVEN THE CLUB. BUT I HONESTLY THINK THAT GALLAS, UNLIKE THE OTHER TWO WHO ARE BOTH VERY QUIET, IS A NATURAL LEADER AND ONE THAT INSPIRES THROUGH WORDS AS WELL AS DEEDS.
I CERTAINLY THINK THAT NOW THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE BY WENGER, THERE IS NO POINT GOING ON ABOUT IT ANY LONGER. IN MY OPINION OUR WILLY WILL PROVIDE JUST THE RIGHT BALANCE OF LEADERSHIP, EXPERIENCE AND WINNING ATTITUDE THAT THE YOUNSTERS WILL NEED TO GUIDE THEM THROUGH THE SEASON.

IHH, by no means is Kolo quiet. If you watch him he's always talking. Telling players around him where to go, pointing out runners, clapping his hands and geeing team mates up. And I'm sure you've seen him go mad when we've allowed the opposition a chance or conceded.
A couple of times Sunday, Gallas did what a skipper should do (when RVP stayed down after a one on one, Gallas ran the full length to check on him) and I thought "Thats what we want, well done". Its not that he's neccessarily the wrong choice as captain per se, its just a few of us think that Gilberto and Kolo are better choices.
