Henry wanted to leave London and I think it was the right thing to let him.
The player that never should have been sold is Patrick Paddy Vieira. Nowadays he stuggles for pace in bleeding Serie A, where people hardly run, but he was prepared to stay at the club for the rest of his career when we sold him and he should have been kept here for the same reason United have kept Scholes, Giggs, Sister Neville etc. Even if Vieira played 10 games a season with just his presence he would still take a lot of pressure of the rest of the team, give the club a bigger status and it would give the others someone to look up to.
I reckon we'd been able to hold on to Pires, Henry and maybe even Cashley with Vieira still at the club.

Interesting thoughts but to be honest I sorta knew Veiria would go. Every year he was linked with a club and didn't know what he was going to do.JakeN13 wrote:Henry wanted to leave London and I think it was the right thing to let him.
