I know what you mean as I thought exactly the same thing myself when I read it. What is so special about him that he gets preferential treatment over the others. I have no issue with his address being withheld but surely the others deserve the same.

Irony? The irony of you guys calling for his head when many of your players dive far more regularly than him. This sort of thing happens all the time and usually nothing more is made of it than just a scrap. Not when Stevie is involved though, no when Stevie is involved it's the biggest crime imaginable, i'm sure many of you here have been involed in similar incidents and think nothing of it. And it just so happens the man who was hit is a manc....hmm. He probaly wasn't even involved and if he was what of it?

And you know the sad thing? Some of you actually want him to go to prison. Clearly people would rather be naive and dillusional and spout shit than wake up and smell the flowers.

No. I don't condone this behaviour if he did it. Gerrard isn't that type of person though, he said in his auto biography that he would rather a quiet night in. I don't see what the problem is though. He was out late celebrating his sides 1-5 victory away to newcastle and may have got involved in a little scrap. It was most likely his mates anyway who intervened after something was said between the two. Steve isn't the sort of guy. The only bit i'm worried about in all of this is the fact that Steve may have wanted Phil Collins to have been played. Great on-topic response btw ambarron you witless twat.

Bodje when i was 23 I got arrested for ABH, I was sticking up for a mate anyway cutting the story short I no longer drink with that guy due to me growing up Gerrard is a man and should be responsible for his actions. also considering his autobiography he was hardly going to write I go out and get pissed was he?

Whether he did or didn't do it this whole thing is being blown out of porportion. And it's very possible that Steve is covering up for a mate. And players do tend to tell nothing, but the truth in their autobiographys.....look at Ashley coles. It's a storm in a tea cup really.

Gerrard has not been tried or found guilty, we do not know the details of the case so let's not jump to conclusions. Not like Gerrard is a regular for trouble

oh please grow up and stop acting the victim. and for your information he is high profile because he had partly made himself so *(WAG for a wife and bringing out an auto at 27 i might add) its a big media story get over it. he's been nicked with four others so there seems to be a case to answer. we will find the facts out later and then take it from there.
