I'm happy about The Arsenal thread

'cos tomorrow I finally get to go and cheer the boys on

. Stopped going when job, marriage and kids took priority

So tomorrow is the eldest lads' first match. Sod the credit crunch, January blues, lack of sparkle in the team, no transfer funds etc etc cos we are the Arsenal and we are the best...

We will mostly be singing our hearts out and havin a good day

And where's the best place for a beer? Was going to the Gunners pub..

You should be okay standing up occaisionally but expect the stewards to ask you to sit down, just do it and then get back up when they have gone. Best place for a beer would be either the Gunners as you have mentioned or the Rocket on Holloway road. To get in the Rocket (student uni bar) you will need to show a valid match ticket

I forgot to ask but how old is your eldest? They don't let kids into the Gunners as far as I know, thats why I will be in the Rocket with my two

Well if you do decide on paying the Rocket a visit, it is right opposite PaddyPower on the Holloway Road and will be full of many of the regulars on this forum.
