Bendtner
Yet again this gentleman was given a start by Wenger and yet again he produced nothing. If the manager genuinely believes that he has potential then I really do think I can hear the flapping of white coats pulling up outside The Emirates to take Wenger away. If I'm completely wrong then please tell me.

There were some white gloves flapping today - perhaps we can make a whole outfit ?Eboue-Why? wrote:Yet again this gentleman was given a start by Wenger and yet again he produced nothing. I believe Bendtner has potential as a number 10.
Playing quite deep, passing forward to to a mobile speedy striker.
He can also be quite good at set pieces and on the end of crosses.
He is still 20 years old and developing.
I do think though that he is not a player suited to Arsenal's style of play, that he lacks the pace and technical ability to cope with fast switch passing football.
Also think he is a bit isolated in the squad, seems to be a bit "prickly".
Best thing is to sell him to a team more suited to his game, perhaps Bolton or Blackburn?

Quartz, I know we've had a game today and so like the rest of us you've probably had a couple of shandys but..............BENDTNER AS AS 'DENNIS'?!?!?!?! To me that's probably the worst part of his game. When he's running at the defence he rarely picks out a correct through ball and 9 times out of 10 it gets intercepted.
To me he smacks of being arrogant and if Ramsey was ignoring him then it speaks volumes.
It's just another example of why I'm so concerned about Wenger's judgement at the moment. Maybe we're all wrong but to me Bendtner is at best a Championship player.

I think one of his strongest parts of his game, is passing from deep, from 45 - 30 yards out, a forward through ball, when he has a bit of time on the ball to pick out a pass, and is not under pressure or running forward.
I agree that when he is further forward, or running with the ball, his passing is often intercepted and he does not have the quick feet needed to make killer passes around the box, which is a role I see Ramsey eventually taking up.

I dont think Bendtner will be reading this so it dont really matter if we say hes shit, the fact is he aint good enough, he should have stood out today against Plymouth, as he should have done at Burnley, but the fact remains he was shit today and at Burnley. Its Wengers fault for sticking with the same shit week in week out

Smooth - apologies if I've repeated previous threads. It's just frustration at 2 things. Firstly that Bendtner keeps failing to take the chance to prove himself but more importantly that unless he's just trying to protect him, Wenger still believes he is good enough. I've not got anything against the boy apart from perhaps his apparent arrogance that he thinks he's better than he is. I'm sure he gives 100% but like a lot of people I'm just concerned about the quality of the current crop.
I'll shut up now!
